We accept traditional Medicare and most PPO insurance plans. HMO insurance is also accepted; however, an authorization from your primary care physician is required.

Our doctors are highly trained in all aspects of foot and ankle disorders and are affiliated with Paradise Valley Hospital in National City.

Dr. Atmar is a podiatric physician and surgeon, as well as the Founder and President of Barefeet Podiatry, Inc. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree in 2011 from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He went on to complete his surgical residency at New York Methodist Hospital and received additional surgical training at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital in New York before establishing his practice.

In his spare time, Dr. Atmar enjoys spending time with family and friends. He is also passionate about animal advocacy and supports several local organizations.  

Dr. Johnson is a licensed foot and ankle specialist. He graduated with honors in 2013 from the University of Florida and went on to pursue his doctoral education in Podiatric Medicine at Barry University in Miami. He completed his surgical residency at Westchester General Hospital in South Miami, where he gained extensive experience in fo

He graduated with honors in 2013 from the University of Florida and went on to pursue his doctoral education in Podiatric Medicine at Barry University in Miami. He completed his surgical residency at Westchester General Hospital in South Miami, where he gained extensive experience in foot and ankle surgery.

He also served as the manager of the Wound Care Center at Northshore Hospital, utilizing advanced wound‑care modalities to promote rapid and effective healing for patients with complex wounds.

Dr. Johnson’s clinical expertise includes the treatment of a wide range of foot and ankle deformities and disorders.

In his spare time, Dr. Johnson enjoys surfing and boating. He also loves spending time with his family and his 30‑pound terrier.

Dr. Mukherjee is a licensed podiatrist who graduated from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in 2020. He completed his surgical residency at the DVA Jesse Brown VA Medical Center in 2023, gaining comprehensive training in the management of foot and ankle conditions.
